4 recommended steps for choosing a respiratory protective device:

1. Identify the hazard - dust, metal fly, gases and vapours

2. Assess the level of risk - assess the level of danger according to safety standards, taking into account other parts of the body that need protection: skin, eyes, body

3. Choose the right respirator - disposable respirators, reusable respirators, half masks, full masks, positive pressure respiratory protection, etc.

4. Learn to use a respirator - to ensure proper respiratory protection

Care of reusable respirators:

Reusable respirators must be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure optimal performance and protection for the wearer. If the protective equipment is not maintained correctly, in addition to the reduction of the protection class, the effective service life of the product may also be shortened, which may lead to the replacement of the mask. Instructions on how to care for and check the masks can be found in the instructions for use included with each product.
